Things have dried out nicely here as it hasn't rained in quite a while. Temps are warm most days in the 70's some in the 80's. Yesterday I cleaned up in the trailer then drove to Brownsville with Paul to visit Harbour Freight (discount tool store) and Best Buy. Short trip as it is only about 20 Min's to Brownsville from here. Carving club in the afternoon then Paul and Jane took me to the Texas Longhorn restaurant and bought me supper to celebrate my birthday. Brisket and ribs and the establishment threw in a banana desert for my birthday. Back at the park there was a Las Vegas Casino night going on. You purchased tickets, used them to play and any tickets you had left you put your name on and put in a bag to try and win the associated prize. I was quite lucky at blackjack and so had quite a few tickets to sign. I ended up winning two prizes for Sue. Today I am off to a Titanium Luncheon further up the valley and will probably stop into the DonWes Flea market as it is right behind. This flea market is run by RVer's for RVer's and has lots of the usual stuff plus lots of things (obviously) for RV's there is also a large farmers market across the street, time to stock up on grapefruit and pineapple.
By the way thanks for all the birthday wishes.
Doug.
